The SAME Virtus tractors with 4-cylinder common rail engines offer performance, reliability and low running costs. The rated power is obtained at 2,200 rpm, and power delivery increases in line with the load up to the maximum 99 hp (Virtus 100), 110 hp (Virtus 110) and 122 hp (Virtus 120) at 2,000 rpm.

The new transmissions of the SAME Virtus give a choice of 4 different options, ranging from the mechanical 10 + 10 transmission (5 gears x 2 ranges) up to the HML 60 + 60 transmission with overspeed and proportional control (5 gears x 3 Powershift gears x 4 ranges) which enable the tractor to reach 40 km/h at economy engine speed, or 50 km/h where national speed limits allow. All models and all versions are equipped as standard with a hydraulic Powershuttle with sensitivity control.

The full complement of PTOs is also worthy of a top class tractor. 4 rear PTO speeds (540 – 540 ECO – 1000 – 1000 ECO), ground speed PTO with independent output shaft and a 1000 rpm front PTO, make theSAME Virtus range a truly multi-purpose workhorse capable of tackling the widest range of applications.

Another great strength of the Virtus lies in the choice of three different hydraulic systems: single 60 l/min pump, tandem 90 l/min pump, or the innovative “60-ECO” system with tandem pump which can provide a flow rate of 60 l/min at just 1,600 rpm. The maximum lifting capacity is 4,650 kg, but for users who need even greater lifting power, there is the option of auxiliary lifting rams (50 mm in diameter) which increase the lifting capacity to 6,600 kg.

The new “Class E” cab of the SAME Virtus is a functional and comfortable working environment that bears the unmistakable signature of Giugiaro Design. The new materials, the new colour scheme of the interior, the outstanding visibility and the rational positioning of all the controls makes this cab the new benchmark for the medium power tractor sector. Simplicity of use, the “colour line” logic by which the controls are grouped according to their function and the high level of comfort allows the operator to feel perfectly at home in the SAME Virtus right from the start. A wide choice of options allows the user to configure the cab to his own personal needs.
These options include (depending on the model) a choice between mechanical or pneumatic cab suspension, different driver’s seat suspension systems, a passenger seat, highvisibility roof, air conditioning or automatic climate control, 10 work lights with a WOLP (centralised control panel for all tractor lights), the new iMonitor 2.0 and the Agrosky satellite guidance system.

The new 4WD Smart Management system improves the handling of the four driving wheels, effectively managing the torque distribution between front and rear wheels of the vehicle.
The electronic proportional management of the double-wheel drive clutch, combined with the use of an inertial platform and the monitoring of the braking system allows the identification of the balance conditions of the vehicle. Using this system, it is possible to easily modulate the clutch, maximising the grip during the braking and maintaining control over the steering. The system also manages the balance between front and rear wheels to minimize skidding.
The system also noticeably reduces the minimum turning radius, optimizing maneuverability in low speed situations.
